Summer summer and that means some time for globetrotting!! Which means airports and airplanes and hijacked ticket prices... so we at Therafit thought it might help some of you gals out if we shared some tricks we've been saving up our sleeves.

when you look in the mirror, do you like what you see?
the nose, the hair, the eyes – that’s certainly part of it, but can you see your spirit reflected in the glass too?
our physical bodies are only the vessels that carry our awareness in this reality. so the first step is embracing, loving, and taking care of that beautiful container. and each of our containers is different – even twins don’t have matching fingerprints – there’s no point trying to compare our legs, our hips, our bodies to someone else’s. we’ve been created perfectly to carry out the mission destiny has planned for us. so why would we want to be in someone else’s spaceship?

Earthlings! Today's the day to remember how beautiful and amazing our little green and blue planet is. She gives us water, food, air, and such gorgeous place to live and play in.

I love love love going on adventures. Seeing different cultures, different ways of living; eating and experimenting new foods; hearing entirely unknown sounds come out of the locals’ mouths; everything is different when you travel – except for the tiny limited allotted space that’s supposed to house everything you’ll be wearing for these LIFE-CHANGING, EYE-OPENING, PERSPECTIVE-RECONSTRUCTING moments (and trying to figure out how many pairs of shoes will fit...)

Unsweetened dark, simple chocolate increases the serotonin (the feel-good hormone!) levels in the brain, leaving us on a little high - but we didn't have to tell you that. A superfood high in antioxidants, it also has bucket loads of magnesium (41 mg in 1 oz!).

“Summer time and the livin is easy” but what you’re putting your feet through wearing flip-flops is not. When you are wearing typical Sandals your toes are constantly gripping and bunched up to keep the shoes from falling off, making it impossible for your arch to flex normally, which in turn compromises the way your forefoot pushes off when you step forward. What happens? We compensate with our hips – forcing our knees and hips to absorb the impact while not allowing our butt and the backs of our legs to fully engage, thus weakening them over time.

Did you know?
1. Plastic bags take anywhere from 15 to 1000 years to decompose.
2. Only 1 percent of plastic bags are recycled in the United States. The rest end up in landfills, the ocean, or some other place in the environment. There's actually a giant garbage heap made mostly of plastic floating in the ocean that's twice the size of the United States.
3. It's estimated that 1 million birds and thousands of turtles and other sea animals die each year after ingesting discarded plastic bags.
4. More than 10 percent of washed-up debris polluting the U.S. coastline is made up of plastic bags.
5. It takes 12 million barrels of oil to produce the estimated 100 billion plastic bags Americans use each year.
6. The petroleum used to produce 14 plastic bags can drive a car one mile.
Today, try not to use a plastic bag when you do your groceries!

Little hearts line the streets, the aisles, and the office. CVS is stacked with chocolates, teddy bears, and pink and red banners. Your internet sidebars overflow with 1-800 numbers for flower delivery services, and you know February has come. But this month it’s not just about funny e-cards and diamond bracelets, February is National Heart Disease Awareness Month.
